Our comprehensive teen driving program includes Segment I, covering the basics of driving, traffic laws, and safety, plus 6 hours of behind-the-wheel training. After Segment I, teens are required to complete 50 hours of practice with a parent or guardian. Segment II focuses on advanced driving skills and safety. Together, these segments provide a well-rounded education that prepares teens for the road test and responsible driving.

Our Segment I driving classes are perfect for new teen drivers ready to start their journey. This comprehensive program covers the basics of driving, traffic laws, and safety, including 6 hours of behind-the-wheel instruction. You’ll love our engaging classroom instructors and our safe, supportive behind-the-wheel instructors. The cost is $495 per student. Classes are held at our Ann Arbor location, 3092 Platt Rd. 24 hours of classroom instruction and 6 hours behind the wheel.

Students must be at least 14 years and 8 months of age.

Upon conclusion of the class and passing of the written exam, a certificate of completion will be issued.

Students are then able to obtain a Level 1 license which entails 50 hours behind the wheel including 10 hours at night with an adult 21+ years of age.

Our Segment II driving class helps students on their path to the road test! By completing this class, students will receive a certificate that makes them road test eligible (as long as all other road tests requirements are met as well). The cost is $100 per student. Classes are held at our Ann Arbor location, 3092 Platt Rd. Enroll today and give your teen the foundation they need for safe driving.

May register 90 days after receiving the Level 1 license.

After completing this class, having 50 hours of driving practice (10 hours nighttime) and having held their Level 1 license for at least 6 months, students then become road test eligible. Upon passing the road test, teens will then acquire a certificate and a Level 2 restricted license. Level 2 teens cannot drive alone between the hours of 10 PM - 5 AM unless to and from work.

Teens are required to get 50 hours of driving practice with a parent or guardian. However, if time is limited or the student feels they need more practice, we invite them to schedule 2-4 additional lessons with our professional instructors. These lessons provide personalized instruction to boost confidence and ensure they’re well-prepared for the road test.
